Everything looks good...

we had the dr's appointment on tuesday, and the baby and i both are looking good. he is still due on the 17th but we are hoping for a one week delay on that so we can get into the new hospital. if not, it's not the end of the world but if we can get in there, that would be great!

baby shower is on saturday, then we can figure out what we still need to get and hopefully get his nursery done!! i'm only working until the end of the month, but that can't come soon enough.

he was most definitely shy, had his feet in front of his face and facing my back but we got a few sneak peeks.

33 weeks and counting!

sorry about not being able to update, the last few weeks (and the next month or so) were so busy! we got the windows installed (thanks larry) in the nursery and have been working hard on getting the new drywall and compound up. since the walls weren't even to begin with, and had a layer of drywall and plaster, this has been a challenge to say the least. last weekend we finally were able to get the primer up, and hopefully this week we can get at least one coat of paint.

i know i promised to post up some pictures from chirstmas, however i'll have to get them from someone else since stacy was in charge of the camera and the pictures didn't come out as nice as i would have liked. we are going to do the 4d sonograms on saturday and should have pictures to post up after that visit.

we are having the babyshower at our house in a few saturdays (this time i'll try and get some good pictures of everyone to post) and would like to try and connect w/ TN again via the webcam. hopefully I can fix our end before then and make sure it doesn't freeze up on us again.

happy new year everyone!! we have been working hard on getting the baby's room together. we finally got all the junk cleared out (and thrown away thanks to stacy and all his hard work...while i cheered him on from the living room). now all that's left is to get the new windows put in, once we buy them and find someone to install them, then paint, furnish and have the little one.

we still have pictures from christmas to post up, and once the nursery is put together we'll make sure and take pictures of that as well for all to see. we had our last monthly dr's appointment friday, and are now going every 2 weeks. the dr said that the baby sounds fine (listened to the heart) and we did the gestational diabetes test again (which i think came back ok, the dr would have called us if there was anything wrong). our next appointment is January 14th, and hopefully soon we will also be doing the 4d sonograms to post up as well.

Registry

we went down saturday and got our registry officially started (stacy liked the little gun they gave us to scan items :)). for easy reference or to find it, you can go to babysrus.com click on "Baby Registry" and put in either our last name w/ my first or his or you can go down to a store and give them our name as well to purchase things in store.

Ultrasound pictures

these pictures are from our ultra sound back in October but they were the best ones we had. hopefully we can post some new ones shortly.

we haven't had a chance to work on getting the pictures from the ultrasound up yet, but we should be doing that this weekend. we will also be going down tomorrow and getting the baby registry ready for people who want to get stuff and so we know what we still need to get.

i'm not even sure what we do need for the baby, but i'm hoping we get everything before his arrival. we have settled on a name, however probably wont be announcing it until his birth (to keep it a surprise, and in case one of us changes our minds), but the countdown is getting shorter!

after the first of the year we are going to do the hospital tour to figure out where we are going to be having the little one. luckily for us, the hospital is only a few blocks away from the house, so it wont be a long drive for us when we go back, and it should be easier for people to find since they all know where we live.

we are going to do the 4d sonograms after the first of the year as well and once that is done the pictures will also be posted.

i'm doing fine, baby is kicking a lot (or punching, cant really tell), and dad is doing good.
