Happy Birthday Jaydon!

Today you are 2, and we had your annual check up. Today you are 3' 1.5" tall and 34lbs 9.6oz. Healthy and fit. Here is the message I posted on facebook for you:

Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy. You stole our hearts right from the start, and you continue to do so every time I look at your beautiful face. The last two years have been filled with lots of tears, smiles, dancing, playing, nursing, and lots of dirty diapers, but most importantly full of laughter. I remember the first time you smiled, the first words you spoke, the first time you walked, ran and even fell. I remember the first time you hugged me so tight and didn't want to let go. I will always remember and treasure these memories and hold them dear to my heart. I know that soon enough you will be your own parent, so I need to cherish the time we have now. But I will always have my memories and pictures for as long as I live. Daddy and I both know that you are the most amazing little person that ever came into our lives. We love you Jaydon, happy 2nd Birthday.

Jaydon turns 2 on Monday, I can't believe it's been that long already. Today was his party, we had friends and family here. For those who weren't here this year, we missed you.

Booger and the Beast

Booger is a nickname for Jade aka the bird....the Beast would be Jaydon....he loves her though, and they are cute together. Jade is going through the annual molt so isn't the most attractive right now...

Car Free San Diego..

We just got back from a 2 night car free San Diego trip. We took the Amtrak train from Van Nuys station to downtown SD, and took the bus around town. Went to the Zoo and Balboa Park to see some museums. We didn't get a whole lot of pics while we were out and about but we got a few.

Train to Santa Barbara

We took the train from Van Nuys to Santa Barbara Sunday and had a blast. One way is 2 hrs, so we got into SB at around 12, right when it started raining. Had some lunch, then took the bus up to the Mission, walking back in the rain to another stop we took the bus back and hopped back on the train for home around 4pm. Everyone had a great time...I wish we had gotten some pictures while we were out, but with the rain I didn't want to ruin the camera!
